Hello! I'm Max. Influenced from a very early age by the gestural abstraction paintings of my beloved grandmother Wega Nery, a renowned brazilian female painter. Since then working in artist's atelier doing paintings and collages.

Fast forwarding I worked over 15 years as a professional photographer and photo editor for nationwide weekly news magazine ISTOÉ, in São Paulo, doing assignments in all states of Brazil, Amazon, Venezuela, the United States, Japan, Mexico, the elections in Brazil, social issues, and the Paralympic Games and never stopped work in my artist's atelier. Moved to Paris in 2014 for a master's degree in fine art.
