Biography
Hi, I’m Max! I was influenced early by the gestural abstraction paintings of his grandmother, renowned female painter Wega Nery.
Following 15 years of professional experience as a professional photographer and photo editor for the weekly news magazine ISTOÉ in São Paulo, doing assignments in all states of Brazil, Amazon, Venezuela, the United States, Japan, Mexico, the elections in Brazil, social issues, and the Paralympic Games. During which alwaysworked in my atelier studio.
Established in 2014 in Paris for a Master’s degree in fine arts at Panthéon Sorbonne University Paris 1. Shortlisted for the very competitive biennial The Marmite Prize for Painting in London, and honorable mention in the Paraty Prize for contemporary art, Rio de Janeiro..
