My works are always on this fine line between art and advertising, high and low art, continuously questioning what is considered art, advertising, and media. I purposely maintain this vague territory as my path, the incertitude whether you are seeing large format comics-titles-inspired paintings or cartoons and mass-produced printed media for mass consumption. You are never sure what you see.

I moved to Paris in 2014 for a Master’s degree in fine arts, at Panthéon-Sorbonne University Paris 1 where I’m currently doing a PhD fine arts research on the color of vintage comics.

I was shortlisted for the highly appraised “Marmite Prize for Painting“, in London and was honorable mention in the Paraty Prize for contemporary art, Rio de Janeiro.
